The Aseer region is located in the South Western part of Saudi Arabia and is known for it's high mountains, valleys, beautiful beaches and comfortable climate throughout the year. All these factors have contributed in developing the region and has transformed it into a tourist attraction.
Aseer is one of the most populous regions in Saudi Arabia and is rich with culture and long history of a variety of Arabic traditions.
Aseer's infrastructure has come a long way. The region is now accessible thanks to the state-of-the-art highway network linking it to all of Saudi Arabia's major cities and an airport servicing the inbound travel.

With the contribution of the Saudi Government and the patronage of His Highness Prince Khaled Al Faisal, Governor of Asir and Ceremonial President of The National Company for Tourism, SYAHYA has built many luxurious resorts in the region. Tourists can now choose their accommodation to suit their needs ranging from five star hotels and spacious villas to apartments and motels. There are many attractions for your enjoyment, including parks, amassment parks, restaurants, mountain climbing, parasailing and a variety of water sports.

Aseer's geography made it possible to build cable car systems (teleferique) linking the various resorts with each other including Al Sooda, Habla, Abha and Dourat.
